Supplemental Instruction with the Academic Success Center
Supplemental Instruction (SI) offers peer-led sessions that promote collaboration, critical thinking, and mastery of course material. SI Leaders (also known as SILs) will facilitate at least two sessions per week to help reinforce course concepts and support academic success. During the first week of the semester, SILs will introduce themselves and poll the class to determine the best times to facilitate sessions. Session times will be communicated during class, via Folio, and GSU email. In addition to scheduled SI sessions, SILs will offer appointments for additional academic support. Participation in SI is voluntary but strongly encouraged to enhance understanding of course content and improve academic performance.
